Farata’ has been piercing here in Oregon since 2005 and has been a member of the association of professional piercers almost as long. They have been piercing and performing other behind the scenes things here at ritual arts on and off whenever help is needed since the studio opened in 2011. We are happy to finally have them on board as a permanent piercer!
Farata’ says their ULTIMATE favorite part of piercing is not any specific piercing, but the experience itself. Specifically any time that someone has a smile beaming so big for a set of earlobe piercings, or when somone is crying happy tears wondering why they waited so long to get pierced. Farata’ especially enjoys helping a client take their POwer back, allowing them to hold their head a little higher after getting pierced. these special moments are why they keep doing what they do. For this they are truly honored.
When faraTa’ is not piercing, chances are they are eating some amazing vegan Food, hiking in the woods, BOULDERING , practicing Herbology or making candles. if the weather is nice enough you might find them at the river soaking up some Vitamin D.
