DO you PIERCE MINORS?

YEs. We are honored to offer the ritual of ear lobe piercing to minors starting at the age of 6 with their consent and a consultation. the following is a list of other piercings we offer to minors/youths and at what minimum age we will perform these services, anatomy DEPENDENT.

• Conch-15 years old

• Daith - 16 years old

• eyebrow - 15 years old

• forward Helix- 15 years old

• helix- 14 years old

• industrial- 16 years old

• navel- 16 years old

• nostril- 15 years old -Younger than 15 is a case by case basis call to inquire

• Rook - 16 years old

• septum - 15 years old

• tragus - 16 years old

if under 18 what documents do I need to get a piercing service ?

We require photo id from both the Parent/legal GUARDIAN + the youth getting pierced. photo id must not be expired or have a hole punched through it. last names must match*.

Acceptable identification include the following

• Current Driver’s Liscence, permit,or ID card

• passport or passport card with photo

• Tribal Id card with photo and address

• Citizen ID with Photo

• PERMANENT resident card with photo

• Student body card with photo (high School)

For youth without a Photo ID and under the age of 13 we can accept a birth certificate or passport. Last names must match for parent and youth. *If last names do not match, we need documentation showing gaurdianship or relationship. Such documents could include :

• Marriage liscence

• Birth Certificate, if using a photo id for YOuth

• name change documents

• Legal gaurdian papers from the court

We have these policies for our own liability, and state requirements. please make sure you have these documents with you at the time of your appointment.

We don’t want to to turn away you and your kiddo on such an exciting day, so please help us make this a positive EXPERIENCE for everyone!

For Initial piercings we suggest waiting at least 8-10 weeks to swim, or longer if the piercing is slower to heal.

Some school sports PROGRAMS do not allow jewelry to be WORN DURING GAMES. We recomend keeping INITIAL jewelry in for 3-4 months before swapping a retainer in and out of the piercing.

Sometimes a bandaid can be worn over the piercing to hide it. We do not recomend this. If it is your only option be sure that it is loosely covering the piercing and that the ADHESIVE is not on the piercing and jewelry.

we strongly suggest planning piercings around the timeline of these activities for a SUCCESSFUL heal .

WHAT TYPE OF JEWELRY is SUGGESTED FOR INITIAL PIERCINGS?

for initial piercings We SUGGEST implant grade titanium, 316LVM STAINLESS STEEL, OR solid 14K OR 18k YELLOW OR WHITE GOLD. IMPLANT GRADE TITANIUM IS SAFEST FOR FOLKS WITH EVEN THE MOST SENSITIVE SKIN.

Unfortunately for liability PURPOSES and state GUIDELINES we need both of you here for the piercing procedure. We prefer to have a parent in the room for the piercing. We are required to have Photo ID for both of you to have this service done, and need to be able to check those in person. Above you can find what documents to bring .
